ISDN 10/20/30 (or just ISDN 10 for short) is a cost effective, digital telephony service for businesses with high call volumes that require 10 phone lines or more. Designed specifically with large business in mind, ISDN 10/20/30 is an extremely robust service that is backed by enterprise grade Service Level Agreements giving you piece of mind.
An ISDN 10/20/30 service consists of one or more 2Mbps links, with each link providing 10, 20 or 30 channels (phone lines) that can be used for either incoming or outgoing calls. When more than 30 channels are required, additional 2Mbps links are installed as part of the same service.
ISDN 10/20/30 is sometimes referred to as a Primary Rate service, T1/E1 service or Onramp 10/20/30.
Our ISDN 10/20/30 services are delivered over the Telstra Network using available network infrastructure between your premises and your local telephone exchange. The network infrastructure most commonly used is fibre optic cables, though copper can be used where fibre is unavailable. This flexibility means ISDN 10/20/30 is widely available across Australia, with the exception of remote areas and areas where the local exchange doesn’t have the technical capacity for ISDN 10/20/30.
We provide Free Connection Australia wide on all ISDN 10/20/30 services connected on a 24 month agreement. The standard installation lead time is 25 business days, though this is subject to change based on infrastructure availability. If you have an existing ISDN 10/20/30 service, we can perform a simple transfer from your existing provider over to us without any changes or disruption to your service.
To use ISDN 10/20/30 you will need a phone system (PABX) with a PRI (Primary Rate Interface) card installed. Not all phone systems are compatible with PRI cards and we recommend checking this with your phone system maintainer.
ISDN 10/20/30 services use Direct In Dial (DID) ranges which give you a block of 100 consecutive phone numbers that you can use. For example: 0292001800-0292001899. This allows your inbound calls to be managed to suit your particular business requirements. Direct extension dialling and grouped extensions are common uses for DID ranges. DID ranges come in blocks of 100 numbers and you can have multiple blocks attached to your service or reserve number blocks for future expansion.
